Financial Assistance

The Center for Religion and Spirituality at LMU Extension is committed to making continuing education affordable.  Thanks to the generosity of the University, religious communities and the external community, we have scholarship and tuition assistance opportunities available to the general public for selected certificate programs.  Please note that University Financial Aid is not available for continuing education and non-degree programs.

Scholarship Opportunities

Due to generous support from the University and the external community, the Center is pleased to offer three scholarships worth up to 50% of tuition for the African American Ministry certificate program, the Estudios Pastorales en Español certificate program, and the Cultural Orientation Program for International Ministers.  Please download and submit the following applications along with your registration:

Those enrolling in the advanced (level 2) and clinical (level 3) Yoga Therapy certificate programs are eligible to receive partial tuition assistance from the Yoga Therapy Scholarship fund.  Please contact Pat Ranftl, LMU Extension Academic Services, at pranftl@lmu.edu to request an application.

Third-Party Sponsorship

Many companies, parishes and institutions offer to help individuals with tuition costs.  If you have this type of support, please contact Pat Ranftl, LMU Extension Academic Services, at pranftl@lmu.edu to make the necessary arrangements.

Tuition Assistance

The Center is occasionally gifted funds for partial, need-based tuition assistance.  Those seeking such assistance will need to submit a Tuition Assistance Application.  Please contact Pat Ranftl, LMU Extension Academic Services, at pranftl@lmu.edu to request an application.
