Financial Assistance
The Center for Religion and Spirituality at LMU Extension is committed to making continuing education affordable. Thanks to the generosity of Los Angeles religious communities and the greater university, we have scholarship and partial financial aid "match" opportunities available to the general public for a variety of workshops, special events and continuing education courses and certificate programs.
Registration can be done online, via direct mail, fax or over the phone. If you are eligible for one of the outlined matches, please register via direct mail, fax or phone. Please download the REGISTRATION FORM.
LMU Match for Church Ministers and Educators
This “LMU Match” of financial aid of 50% on any Summer Theology offering (except three-unit graduate theology courses taken for audit) is available for all priests, religious, deacons, Directors of Religious Education, Master Catechists, Youth Ministers, Catholic School teachers and staff, Liturgy or worship coordinators and ministers.
Additionally, past and current students in the Catholic Bible Institute are eligible for the same 50% match for all LMU Scripture Week courses.

Registered fans of the Center on Facebook™ will receive a match in financial aid of 10% for non-certificate program workshops and select special events (this match is not applicable for audit enrollment). Registered members of the Center’s Group on the new Alumni Online Community will receive a match in financial aid of 15% for courses, workshops and select special events. Scholarships and Additional Financial Assistance
The Center for Religion and Spirituality is occasionally gifted funds for partial scholarships. To see if you are eligible, please contact LMU Extension at 310.338.1971. Those seeking partial scholarships will need to apply for financial assistance by filing a Tuition Assistance Application with LMU Extension, which can be requested in person or by phone.
