Advisory Board

The role of the Advisory Board is to advise the Center for Religion and Spirituality and the greater LMU Extension administration on matters pertaining to the Center's purpose: to provide educational opportunities for adult learners, which strengthen their religious and spiritual formation as ministers, educators, and leaders committed to service and the pursuit of justice in their own communities.

The Advisory Board fulfills its purpose by the following:

• Identify opportunities and recommend strategies which support and advance the purpose of the Center.
• Inform the Center's director and staff with regards to trends and changes in continuing education, pastoral ministry, interreligious dialogue, affairs of the Church and religious organizations, and educational demands of the community.
• Review and provide objective assessment and make recommendations about curriculum, instruction, facilities and marketing.
• Assist the Center in promoting good relations with the Church, religious organizations and the greater community.
