LA2010
What Is “Leadership Academy?”
Leadership Academy or LA 2010 is a course designed to teach individuals leadership qualities and how to take a more active role in the community. LA 2010 will consist of one-day courses designed to familiarize business leaders with information on the history/land use of the area, tours of LAX, Marina Harbor, Los Angeles City/County Government and an opportunity to meet and interact with many of the political leaders from the state to local levels. It will also include information on economic development, leadership, lobbying and civic involvement.
Who Should Participate?
Anyone who wants to better understand the LAX Coastal Area community as well as its government, people and businesses.
What Will I Gain From Participating?
Participants who complete LA 2010 will receive four semester units of Professional Development Credit from Loyola Marymount University, along with a certoficate in Leadership Training from LMU Extension. Participants will also gain knowledge and understanding of the LAX Coastal Area community, while interacting with business and community leaders.
How Will My Company Benefi t From My Participation in LA 2010?
By participating in LA 2010 you will not only gain insight into the community but also gain important contacts and networks that will be beneficial to you and your company.
How Much Does It Cost?
The cost to participate in the LA 2010 series is $795 per person.
Enrollment Is limited.
