MyLMU Connect/Blackboard

Blackboard is now called MyLMU Connect, and has a new web address. Please see instructions.

New to Blackboard or MyLMU Connect? Follow the procedures below.

• Go to http://my.lmu.edu via ISP Internet Explorer
• When page loads, click on the “reset your password” link
• Enter your first name, last name, birth date (month and day only), and the last four digits of your Social Security Number.***
• Once you enter your information, you will be given your username and be allowed to change your password. Fill in the required fields and click on the "confirm identity" button.
• Set new password according to instructions.
• WRITE DOWN your username and password, and keep it handy.
• Do not continue to try to log in to MyLMU. The above process was only necessary to create a system-wide user name for you.
• Wait a few minutes before going on to the next step below.

Once you have your username and password, follow these steps:

• Go to https://mylmuconnect.lmu.edu/

• Enter your username and password (that you set up in MyLMU)

• Click on your course title.

From now on, you only have to follow the three steps above to access the course.

For trouble-shooting, follow these steps:

• ***If MYLMU gives you an error message, try to input (in the SSN box) the last 4 digits of your UID, which is your University ID number. If you don't know it, you can look up your UID here. 
• Note that passwords are case sensitive.
• If you still cannot log into Blackboard, please contact the LMU Help Desk at (310) 338-7777, or email helpdesk@lmu.edu. Please include your 9-digit University ID number in the email.
