An honored tradition of the university, the Chief Academic Officer delivers an annual convocation address that highlights the university's academic initiatives, goals and vision.  The CAO may also cite outstanding achievements, trends in higher education, and the challenges facing students and faculty in academia.  The campus community comes together to attend the convocation and engage in critical discussion.
