Benefits and Services
The ACE program takes a proactive, comprehensive approach to strengthening students’ candidacy for graduate school, beginning in the sophomore year. Students who are admitted to ACE will:
· Reside in the ACE living learning community in their sophomore year
· Enroll in two courses entitled, Strategies for Graduate and Professional School Admission I and II, designed to strengthen their graduate admission portfolios
· Receive graduate and professional school advising
· Receive individualize support with creating and implementing a three-year action plan for entering graduate school
· Qualify to apply for a monetary award to undertake a faculty-supervised research project
· Be eligible to receive travel assistance to present their research activities at academic conferences
· Receive free transportation to an annual graduate recruitment fair
· Attend the annual Mane Course Alumni Dinner
· Network with students who are equally motivated to pursuing a graduate or professional degree
· Participate in service learning opportunities alongside ACE Scholars
· Engage in social activities that build cohesiveness among the ACE community
