Prospective Students
The ACE program invites applications from motivated and academically ambitious students who possess strong records of leadership and service.
Eligibility
Eligible students will automatically receive an application packet in the mail during the second semester of their freshman year (spring semester). Students admitted to ACE will enter the program during the subsequent fall semester (first semester of their sophomore year). At a minimum, applicants must:
• Possess a 3.0 cumulative grade point average
• Be a rising sophomore (2nd semester freshman) at the time of their application
• Complete the ACE Admission Application (available at the end of January)
• Plan to pursue a graduate or professional degree
• Agree to reside in the living learning community in McCarthy Hall (sophomore year only)
• Be in good academic and judicial standing with the University
• Agree to adhere to the membership requirements as described in the ACE contract.
