How to Stay Involved

We hope that you make the most of your remaining time at LMU, find ways for you to use the knowledge you have brought back, and share the new perspectives you have acquired. The following checklist will give you a start on how to accomplish these goals: 

• Courses, of course!To the extent possible, select courses that will build upon the your study abroad experience and both deepen and broaden your knowledge
• Become an LMU Study Abroad Ambassador and share our enthusiasm for study abroad with others Contact StudyAbroad@lmu.edu if you are interested
• Give a study abroad presentation to your classmates to recruit future participants
• Become an iMentor, which is sponsored by Office of International Students and Scholars: http://www.lmu.edu/studentlife/oiss/iMentor_Program.htm
• Continue to correspond with your home stay family, foreign friends, host culture and nationals
• Stop by and talk with the study abroad coordinators about your experience, we love to hear your stories
• Subscribe to foreign language media (newspapers, magazines, newsletters)
• Attend an international lecture series
• Host an international dinner party
• Check out foreign films
• Help a foreign visitor by showing them the campus or the greater LA area
• Share your photos
• Search for the LMU Study Abroad fan page on Facebook
