Ambassador Program
The Study Abroad Office would like to invite returned students to become Study Abroad Ambassadors. The Ambassador Program will allow you to reconnect with old friends, meet students from other LMU study abroad programs, share stories and reach out to students considering a study abroad experience. Becoming an Ambassador is an amazing leadership experience and provides students with the opportunity to improve public speaking and presentation skills and build life-long connections.
Study Abroad Ambassadors participate in a variety of events including:
- Study Abroad Fairs
- Study Abroad Information Sessions
- Dorm Panels
- In-Class Presentations

Semester Info Session – Panel of Ambassadors from Fall Semester Programs to talk and share pictures about your experiences abroad. 2 dates: January 20th and/or February 10th, 12:05pm to 1:30pm (let us know which date you can attend)
Community Service Fair - Stand at a Study Abroad table and talk to students passing by about your experiences from abroad as part of the Center for Service and Action event. January 25th, 10pm
Study Abroad Fair - Stand at the table of your Study Abroad Program to talk to interested students. Please tell your friends who have not gone abroad yet to come to check out program options at the Study Abroad Fair! February 1st , 12:05pm to 1:30pm.
Black History Month - Students of Color Go Global - Panel of Ambassadors to share your experiences from abroad that are relevant. February 3rd,12:05pm to 1:30pm
Honors Program Night - Panel of Ambassadors in the LMU Honors Program to talk to students about your study abroad experience. February 10th 6-7:30pm
In-Class, Club, or Group Presentations - If you would like to do a 5-minute Study Abroad presentation in one of your classes or at meetings for your fraternity, sorority, club, team, etc., please let us know and we can provide you with the materials. Date: On-Going
