In this course, you will learn about the West African worldview, culture, science, psychology and philosophy. Students will experience increased consciousness of one’s own ethno-cultural identity in a historical, contemporary and global context. Service learning will emphasize development of an understanding of the difference between charity, social welfare and social change.
