Program Description

The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars provides students with the opportunity to live, learn and work in our nation’s capital. Students work 30 to 40 hours per week at their internship and take academic classes in the evenings. The program fosters a professional and mature outlook, and a working knowledge of Washington, D.C.

Location

A great world capital rich in intellectual and cultural diversity, Washington, D.C., offers students unparalleled internship opportunities. The nation’s capital is home to thousands of corporations and businesses, embassies, volunteer organizations and interest groups, cultural and scientific organizations, law and lobbying firms, trade associations, and major media headquarters -- not to mention the White House, federal government and congressional offices. The Washington Center is located just north of the White House.
