- Major education-based field trip: two to three weeks; includes transportation, local hotels, some meals, admission fees (one per semester)
- Minor field trip: one week; includes same as above (one per semester)
Housing & Meals
All students, except those living with a host family, will live in the International Student Center on the campus of the University of International Business and Economics. Each student room is furnished and has a private Western-style bathroom. Standard rooms are double occupancy, though private rooms may be available for an additional fee. The International Student Center has a small café and convenience store, an Internet café, and a laundry room and kitchen on each floor. The third floor of the International Student Center was recently refurnished as a DVD lounge with a television, DVD player, and couches. In addition, construction has recently been completed on two private, wireless study lounges and a fully furnished gym.
Food in Beijing is plentiful and delicious. The city is famous for its having 100,000 restaurants and you will find food from all over the world. The University of International Business and Economics has two student cafeterias and a coffee shop, where you can get a hot meal for less than $1.00 US.
