The Department of Music will present its annual Gala Christmas Concert in Sacred Heart Chapel. Appearing in the concert will be the Consort Singers, Women’s Chorus, and Concert Choir under the direction of Mary Breden, Director of Choral Activities. In addition to shorter seasonal works, the Women’s Chorus will perform Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols and the Consort Singers William Mathias’ Ave Rex. The combined ensembles will close this holiday concert with Daniel Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata.
