Semester-long Writing Appointments (Writing Labs)
If you have many papers to write in the semester and want to make a permanent weekly appointment with the same writing tutor, you can register for one of our Writing Labs. You'll receive individualized tutorial instruction designed to make you a better writer. You'll have your own personal writing tutor for the semester,
and you get one unit of credit! Best deal in town!
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO REGISTER FOR?
If you are enrolled in ENGL 100, → Register for
ENGL 101If you are enrolled in ENGL 110, → Register for
ENGL 111 If you have many papers to write
from any LMU courses, → Register for
ENGL 115
HOW DO I REGISTER?
Step 1. Register via PROWL. After the add/drop date (in the first week), the LRC will enroll you.
Step 2. Go to the LRC and schedule your weekly tutoring appointment at a time that is convenient for you. Or, call or e-mail Ann Stenglein at 310-338-2726 or astengle@lmu.edu.
Lab appointments begin the third week of the semester, so you must have your appointment set by the end of the second week.
