Writing Tutoring

Working on a paper? Don’t underestimate the value of a second set of eyes. A tutor will give you constructive feedback from the perspective of a reader, asking questions such as What do you want to say? To whom and why?
- You can meet one-on-one with a writing tutor to work on any paper, at any stage of development, for any course on campus.
- You can see a tutor face-to-face in the LRC or meet virtually, online.
- You can make a one-time appointment, a weekly, semester-long appointment, or just drop into the LRC and take a chance that a writing tutor will be available.
Our tutors will support and guide you in any way they can as you proceed along your path to becoming the best writer you can be—as long as it doesn’t entail writing the paper for you!
