Transfer Process Step 1
LMU Admission Counselors visit local community colleges to assist students and advisors with the transfer process. Contact Tom Gutto, Assistant Director and Transfer Coordinator in the Office of Admission. Students are welcome to visit LMU for a Transfer Info Session & Tour.
LMU participates in all federal and state financial aid programs. California residents who are eligible for the Cal Grant are advised to maintain their eligibility and must submit a Transfer Entitlement Certification before transferring to LMU.
Transfer Agreements are designed to help students and college counselors identify courses that apply toward a Loyola Marymount University degree program.
Once a transfer student is accepted to LMU and official transcripts are received, the Academic Records Coordinators work collaboratively with each Associate Dean's office to process transferable coursework. Accepted students should check transfer information posted in PROWL.
