Summer Sessions
Summer courses at LMU consists of two consecutive 6-week sessions, each the equivalent of a 16-week semester. The sessions do not overlap and students are welcome to attend both sessions. Because of the compressed nature of the classes, students are limited to 6 semester hours per session.
Current LMU Students register via
PROWL

Non-LMU Students:
- The registration process for non-LMU students is initially an internal process of the Registrar's Office. A student downloads and submits the summer application to the office via fax or scan (see address below). A student record will be created and you will be registered in the requested classes by Office personnel.
- An email confirming registration and/or reporting any circumstances with a requested registration is sent to the student - please be sure to give us your email address on the form. Included with this email are directions on how to access your newly created student record in PROWL as well as information on your account and other contact information. If a student does not receive a confirmation email from the Registrar's Office within three days of submission, please contact us through the email link below.
- What else to consider?
- If you are attending another college or university and you wish to register for a course which has a pre-requisite or some other restriction, you should submit with your application a copy of a transcript (unofficial is allowed) as proof that you have met the prerequisites/restrictions on the course. You may not be registered in a restricted course without proof of having fulfilled the requirement.
High School Students:
- A high school student who has completed the 11th grade with at least a B+ (3.3) GPA, may take summer classes at LMU. The registration process for high school students is initially an internal process of the Registrar's Office. A student must submit a high school transcript with the summer application to the office via fax or scan (see address below). A student record will be created and you will be registered in the requested classes by Office personnel.
