American Cultures Studies (3 semester hours)

Mathematics, Science and Technology (18 semester hours)
This requirement is met by the curriculum of the major in the College of Science and Engineering.

Philosophy (6 semester hours)
Students are required to take PHIL 160: Philosophy of Human Nature at LMU and 3 semester hours of upper division philosophy to fulfill the core requirement.

Social Sciences (6 semester hours)
Orange Coast College students choose one of the three following options:

Option A:  Select 2 courses from the following departments.  Each course must be from a different department.

Theological Studies (6 semester hours)

Students are required to take one 100-level theology course and one 300-level theology course. Orange Coast College students fulfill the lower division requirement by taking one of the following courses:

*Students majoring in the Bachelor of Science in Natural Science, Secondary Science Education in Biology or Chemistry may use these courses to satisfy the U.S. Constitution requirement for the preliminary teaching credential.
