American Cultures (3 semester Hours)
Mt. San Antonio College students take one of the following courses:

Communication or Critical Thinking (3 semester hours)
Mt. San Antonio College students choose one of the following courses:

Creative Arts (3 semester hours)
Mt. San Antonio College students choose one of the following courses:

History (3 semester hours)
Mt. San Antonio College students fulfill this requirement at LMU.

Literature (3 semester hours)
Mt. San Antonio College students choose one of the following courses:

Mathematics, Science and Technology (18 semester hours)
This requirement is met by the curriculum of the major in the College of Science and Engineering.

Philosophy (6 semester hours)
Students are required to take PHIL 160: Philosophy of Human Nature at LMU and 3 semester hours of upper division philosophy to fulfill the core requirement.

Social Sciences (6 semester hours)
Mt. San Antonio College students choose one of the three following options:

Option A:  Select 2 courses from the following departments.  Each course must be from a different department.

Students are required to take one 100-level theology course and one 300-level theology course.  Mt. San Antonio College students may fulfill the lower division (100-level requirement) by taking one of the following courses:

*Students majoring in the Bachelor of Science in Natural Science, Secondary Science Education in either Biology or Chemistry should take either of these courses to satisfy the U.S. Constitution requirement for the preliminary teaching credential.
