Philosophy (6 semester units)
Students are required to take PHIL 160: Philosophy of Human Nature at LMU and 3 semester hours of upper division philosophy to fulfill the core requirement. Long Beach City College students fulfill the lower division (PHIL 160) requirement at LMU.

Social Sciences (6 semester hours)
This requirement is met by the curriculum of the major.

Theological Studies (6 semester hours)
Students are required to take one 100-level and one 300-level theology course. Long Beach City College students may fulfill the lower division requirement by taking the following course:
