American Cultures Studies (3 semester hours)

This requirement is met by the curriculum of the major in the College of Science and Engineering.

Philosophy (6 semester units)
Students are required to take PHIL 160: Philosophy of Human Nature at LMU and 3 semester hours of upper division philosophy to fulfill the core requirement. L. A. Southwest College students fulfill the lower division (PHIL 160) requirement at LMU.

Social Sciences (6 semester hours)
L. A. Southwest College students choose one of the following 3 options:

Theological Studies (6 semester hours)
Students are required to take one 100-level and one 300-level theology course. L. A. Southwest College students fulfill the lower division requirement at LMU.




*Students of the Bachelor of Science in Natural Science, Secondary Science Education in either Biology or Chemistry should take POL SCI 1 to satisfy the U.S. Constitution requirement for the preliminary teaching credential.
