L. A. City College students fulfill the American Cultures core requirement at LMU.

College Writing (3 semester hours)
L. A. City College students take one of the following course:

Communication or Critical Thinking (3 semester hours)
L. A. City College students choose one of the following courses:

Fine Arts Creative (3 semester hours)
L. A. City College students fulfill this requirement at LMU.

Fine Arts Critical (3 semester hours)
L. A. City College students take the following courses:

Literature (3 semester hours)
L. A. City College students take the following course:

Mathematics, Science and Technology (14 semester hours)
L. A. City College students take the following mathematics courses:

Students are required to complete 8 semester hours of science coursework at LMU.

Philosophy (6 semester hours)
Students are required to take PHIL 160: Philosophy of Human Nature at LMU.

Social Science (6 semester hours)
