Philosophy (6 semester hours)
Students are required to take PHIL 160: Philosophy of Human Nature at LMU and 3 semester hours of upper division philosophy to fulfill the core requirement.

Theological Studies (6 semester hours)
Students are required to take one 100-level theology course and one 300-level theology course.  El Camino College students fulfill the lower division requirement at LMU.

*HIST 1B or PS 1 will satisfy the U.S. Constitution requirement for the preliminary teaching credential for students in the credential track.  It is recommended that students in the Art Education track take one of these courses as well.
