Philosophy (6 semester hours)
Students are required to take PHIL 160: Philosophy of Human Nature at LMU and 3 semester hours of upper division philosophy to fulfill the core requirement.

Theological Studies (6 semester hours) 
Students are required to take one 100-level theology course and one 300-level theology course.  East L. A. College students fulfill the lower division requirement by taking one of the following courses:

*Students majoring in the Bachelor of Science in Natural Science, Secondary Science Education in either Biology or Chemistry may use this course to satisfy the U.S. Constitution requirement for the preliminary teaching credential.
