Curriculum for the Bachelor of Arts in History

University Core requirements
Please consult the University Core requirements for additional courses as required by the Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts.

Lower Division Major Requirements
Students are required to complete 2 western civilization coruses, 2 U.S. history courses and 1 course in contemporary societies, choosing one particular area of the world to study.

Western Civilization Requirement:
Students take the folliowing courses.

HIST 105 Introduction to Western Civilization I

Students take the following courses.

Students take the following course:
HIST 121: Asian Civilizations in Modern Times

Students may also choose to fulfill this requirement by studying another contemporary societies area at LMU.
