Certified Mail ($2.70)

Fold label at top of the item.
Provides a mailing receipt and can be used to verify date and time of delivery online. You can use Certified Mail with First-Class Mail or Priority Mail and in combination with Return Receipt. Certified Mail does not include insurance, and is not available for international mail.

Insured Mail ($1.70 and up)

Place label above the Recipient’s address.
Used when sending valuable merchandise through the mail. Protects it against loss, damage or theft. You can add insurance to cover your mailing up to $5,000. Includes Proof of Mailing. You can use Insured Mail with Express Mail, First Class Mail, Priority Mail, Parcel Post, Media Mail, Library Mail, and in combination with Delivery Confirmation, Signature Confirmation, and Return Receipt.
Insured tracking numbers are reference numbers only and cannot be tracked online.

Registered Mail ($10.00 and up)

Place label above the Recipient’s address. Tape gray form to left of the Recipient’s Address.
Used for mailing highly valuable items, worth up to $25,000. This provides the maximum security, and online access to delivery information. Includes Proof of Mailing. Registered Mail to Canada is subject to a $1,000 indemnity limit. To all other foreign countries, the indemnity limit is currently $40.45. You can use Registered Mail with First Class, Priority Mail, and International services and in combination with Delivery Confirmation, Signature Confirmation, and Return Receipt.

Delivery Confirmation ($0.65 and up)

Place label on bottom left corner of the envelope, to the left of the Recipient’s address.
Used to verify when a package was delivered to or get information on delivery attempts, forwardings, or returns. Information is available online or via toll-free number. You can use Delivery Confirmation with First Class Mail Parcels (with ¾” thickness), Priority Mail, Parcel Post, Media Mail, and Library Mail and in combination with Insured Mail, Registered Mail, and Return Receipt.

Return Receipt ($2.20 and up)

Place card on the back of a letter. Cover the Recipient’s address on a parcel.
Provides hard evidence that mail was delivered. With this service you get a postcard sent to you signed by the person who received your package. You can use a Return Receipt with Express Mail, First Class Mail, Priority Mail, Parcel Post, Media Mail, Library Mail and MUST be purchased in combination with Certified Mail, Registered Mail, Insured Mail (for more than $50), or Express Mail.

Signature Confirmation ($2.20 and up)

Place label and waiver on bottom left corner of the envelope, left of the Recipient’s address.
Provides written proof with a signature from the person that received your mail or shipment. You can use Signature Confirmation with First Class Mail Parcels (with ¾” thickness), Priority Mail, Parcel Post, Media Mail, and Library Mail and in combination with and in combination with Insured Mail, Registered Mail, and Return Receipt.
