                                                                   IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Loyola Marymount University is pleased to announce that as of March 1, 2013, the billing for your Federal Perkins and/or Institutional Student Loans will be handled by Educational Computer Systems, Incorporated (ECSI).  ECSI is a billing service provider for the university.  We believe this change is a benefit to both borrowers and Loyola Marymount University.

One of the many exciting features of the ECSI service is that borrowers will now have improved access to their account(s) on the Internet.  ECSI’s website is http://www.ecsi.net.  Through this site, borrowers will be able to verify when their payments have been received, update address and phone information, verify account balances, obtain loan payoff amounts, sign-up for electronic billing, and make payments.  Borrowers may also download various forms such as deferments, forbearance requests, etc.  Borrowers will be given a five-digit security code, which will allow only them to access their confidential account information.

Our conversion from Xerox Education Services (ACS) to ECSI will be completed by March 8, 2013.  Once our records are converted, borrowers will be able to contact ECSI and signup for automatic bank draft.
