Surveys & Evaluation

The Manager of Surveys and Evaluation at Loyola Marymount University serves to provide leadership and support in the development and administration of surveys conducted by faculty, staff, and the University, and in the development and administration of methods for evaluating teaching effectiveness on campus. Central to this purpose, the Manager of Surveys and Evaluation seeks to:
  • Provide leadership and support in the University’s participation in and analysis of national student and faculty surveys.
  • Provide workshops and other educational opportunities for faculty and staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in developing surveys appropriate to research needs.
  • Provide leadership and coordination in the development and administration of policies on the administration of online and print surveys to faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
  • Oversee administration of the course evaluation process. Develop more efficient and effective processes for administering course evaluations.
  • Develop new, more valid methods for evaluating teaching effectiveness.
