Dr. Massa has experience as both a researcher and Assistant Professor in Cognitive Psychology, specializing in assessment and improving student learning outcomes.  She completed her undergraduate studies at the Dominican College of San Rafael before pursuing a Master of Arts at California State University, Sacramento, and finally her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology with an interdisciplinary emphasis in quantitative methods in the social sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

As Director of Assessment at Loyola Marymount University, Dr. Massa will guide the development and implementation of a University assessment plan, conduct educational workshops on assessment topics, and provide advice and support to academic departments in the development and maintenance of effective assessment activities. 

Christine completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan before pursuing a Master of Arts in Sociology at Indiana University. She has experience as both a Research Assistant and Associate Instructor for Sociology.

As a Research Associate in the Office of Assessment at Loyola Marymount University, Christine will provide support for the assessment activities of the faculty, staff, and the University.
