Bryce has held a variety of positions in many sectors, but in each his work has focused on policy and econometric analysis.  He came to LMU from the University of California, Riverside, where he worked in the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor/Provost as a policy analyst. Before that, he spent 5 years at the RAND Corporation as a doctoral fellow and contributed to numerous projects ranging from defense to welfare reform.  His work is published in refereed journals including Economics of Education Review, Middle School Journal, and the Elementary School Journal.  He has consulted for the Qatar Foundation, the Institute of Medicine, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.  Bryce has presented work to the Association of California School Administrators, the Los Angeles Unified School District Program Evaluation and Research Board, and the Ministry of Education in Singapore.

Before coming to LMU Guadalupe served as an institutional researcher in the office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at UC Riverside.  Prior to this she taught in educational leadership programs at UC Davis and at Indiana University.  Her scholarly work focuses on the impact of college on student outcomes and on related methodological issues.  Her research is published in Research in Higher Education, Journal of College Student Development, College and University, and the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education.  She has authored chapters for Linking Theory to Practice, The Latino Student’s Guide to College Success, and for The Majority in the Minority.
