Disability Support Services
The Disability Support Services (DSS) Office was created to provide accommodations for students with disabilities.
This website was designed to be a resource for prospective and current students, as well as faculty, staff, and administrators who are teaching or otherwise working with students with disabilities at Loyola Marymount University.
Registration with the DSS Office is on a voluntary, self identifying basis. Students must provide documentation for their disability from an appropriate licensed professional. Services are offered to students who have established disabilities under state and federal laws.
The DSS Office will make every effort to respond to students' request for accommodation within 15 business days once the student has provided all of the necessary documentation. The same timeline applies to students who submit additional documentation so that their file may be re-reviewed; the DSS Office will make every effort to respond within 15 business days. All information and documentation are confidential.
