Initiatives and Programs
There are multiple opportunities for faculty and staff to learn about LMU as a Catholic and Jesuit/Marymount university and experience our spiritual heritage. They include:
Mission Day – Major event early in spring semester. It brings together participants from the entire campus community to celebrate the living and growing reality of LMU's religious identity and Jesuit/Marymount heritage.
Mission Day themes have included “Education of the Whole Person” (2004), “Jesuit Education in a Broken World” (2005), “Ethnic Diversity and Religious Identity” (2007), “Service of Faith (2008), and “Companions in Mission” (2009).
