Fright Night
Every year Campus Ministry hosts Fright Night. This special event invites approximately 500 Kindergarten through 5th Grade children from various inner-city neighborhoods including Nativity School, Para Los Ninos, SAGE Nickerson Gardens After-School Program, Nickerson Gardens Community Center, The Good Shepherd Shelter, and St. Columbkille School to LMU's Westchester campus for a safe and fun Halloween experience. Children are greeted and guided by Loyola Marymount student volunteers dressed up in Halloween attire, through haunted houses, Halloween activities, candy hunts, an afternoon meal, and other exciting student led activities.

Fright Night is made possible through the help of Resident Housing Association (RHA), LMU Athletics, ASLMU, and countless student volunteers. Donations are raised directly from LMU students, the campus community, and special support and assistance provided by Sodexho Dining Services. All LMU students are welcome and encouraged to participate in Fright Night by serving as guides to visiting children, helping to plan and organize various campus Halloween activities, recruiting student volunteers, and fundraising.
