Lenten Busy Person's Retreat
March 2 - April 13, 2009
For all undergraduate and graduate students.
This retreat in daily life is a response to the ongoing need for prayer
and reflection during times when it is not feasible to get away from
work, school and life’s other commitments. Based on the Ignatian ideal
of “finding God in all things”, students will benefit from
incorporating time for themselves and God during their daily routine.
In addition, there will be time for communal gatherings and reflection
in the evenings, as well as time to meet with a spiritual director for
support, encouragement and practical guidance. This is a great way to
renew and refresh your spirit at home, and learn ways to incorporate
spirituality into daily life. Deadline to sign up is Monday, February
23rd.
Do you long for a deeper,
more prayerful Lenten experience, but don't have the time to get away?
Then this is for you! Enter into a deeper, more personall relationship
with God t his Lent through prayer and self-reflection. This retreat
is based on the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola and is
experienced here at LMU through personal prayer, weekly meetings with a
spiritual director, and 4 group gatherings for prayer and fellowship.
