Faculty & Staff Retreat
February 13 - 15, 2009
For Faculty and Staff. This weekend reatreat is organized by the
Center for Ignatian Spirituality,
under the direction of Fr. Randy Roche, S.J.,and Sr. Frances
Gussenhoven, R.S.H.M. The retreat begins with the first meeting at 7:30
p.m. on Friday evening. We conclude after lunch on Sunday. The 2009
retreat is under the direction of Bishop Bennett, S.J., the Peter
Faber, SJ Fellow in Pastoral Theology and Ignatian Spirituality.
The retreat will be held at the Mary and Joseph Retreat Center in Palos
Verdes, with its beautiful grounds and access to walks with views of
the Pacific. Rooms are double, with bath, but individuals will have
their own rooms unless they wish to share with someone they know. The
meeting room is generally “conversation-free” so that those making the
retreat can experience the luxury of time for themselves. This retreat
is funded by LMU, without cost to faculty and staff. Spouses or
partners are welcome.
