Argentina (Christmas Break Trip)
December 27, 2011 - January 8, 2012 (12 days)
Students have the opportunity to spend their Christmas break in Argentina and Uruguay while learning about the rich history of the Jesuits and immersing themselves in a new culture. Students on this trip will visit three very significant cities that have strong ties to the Jesuits: Cordoba, Buenas Aires and Montevideo. Jesuits teach at the Catholic Universities throughout Argentina and Uruguay, and are active in local parishes and work at high schools. Ministers are also heavily invested in the poor, the immigrants and the homeless; largely due to the economic hardships of the past few years in the area. Students will do service alongside these varying groups of people.
Student Cost for Argentina IC Trip: $1495 (IC Student Leaders receive a 50% reduction in cost)
