Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate Students are at the heart of Loyola Marymount's mission.  These four years are the most critical in your lives - it is during these years that you define who you are and discover your talents and passions.  Campus Ministry is here to help guide you through those four years of college - to help you hear God's call and find your place in world.

Most of our Campus Ministers and Resident Ministers are available to support spiritual formation for our students.  Undergraduate students are invited to contact Joanna Carroll, C.S.J. for spiritual direction. Small group faith formation opportunities are available through Christian Life Communities.  Group leadership opportunities are also available and encouraged.  Please contact Manh Tran, S.J., in regard to Christian Life Communities.

Opportunities for spiritual development are also available to students residing in the Student Housing on the Westchester campus.  We encourage you to contact your Resident Minister.

Many styles of retreats are offered to appeal to the diverse spiritualities of our undergraduate student population.  Loyola Marymount offers retreats that provide students with the opportunity to explore and deepen their faith in a variety of ways.  In addition, we encourage students who attend retreats to further deepen and enhance their faith through their participation as retreat leaders, with active roles in planning and leading retreat.

By involving students in every aspect of liturgical ministry, we have created an opportunity for them to understand and shape the sacred liturgies of the university.  We encourage you to participate as a musician, Eucharistic minister, lector, acolyte and/or sacristan.
