Thomas L. King
Tom King has been Student Programs Coordinator in LMU's Center for Service and Action since 2004, and has worked in higher education for 12 years. Tom graduated from St. Joseph's University in 1987 with a degree in theology, and following graduation he served two years as a Jesuit Volunteer. Tom continued his education by receiving a Masters degree in Counseling/College Student Personnel from Shippensburg University in 1993 and in 2004 he completed a Master of Divinity degree from the University of Notre Dame. His work in the CSA includes advising the seven service organizations, the Center for Service and Action House, the McCarthy Experience in Service and Action, and advising students considering post-graduate volunteer service. Tom currently coordinates hospitality for the university's many liturgies with Campus Ministry, and also serves as an advisor for the Service Retreat and as a spiritual director on the annual silent retreat.
