Antonio Alonso

As part of the Campus Ministry team at Loyola Marymount, Tony works to shape and inspire the ministries of assembly, choirs, cantors, and instrumentalists. A graduate of the Northwestern University School of Music, Tony has shared his musical gifts as well as his love and knowledge of liturgy at conferences across the United States, Canada and Europe. An established liturgical composer, Tony’s music reflects an understanding of the multicultural needs of the contemporary Church as well as a commitment to strong ritual music. Tony has several collections of liturgical music published by GIA Publications (Chicago, Illinois) and is also the author of many books for youth and youth ministers about liturgy published by St. Mary’s Press (Winona, Minnesota).
