February 4, 2004 -- National ethics and legal expert Dov Seidman, founder and CEO of LRN, the foremost provider of legal compliance, corporate governance and ethics management systems to Fortune 1000 companies, will visit Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles to discuss ?Ethical Capitalism? on Feb. 19, at 12 pm in Hilton 100.

The lecture will focus on Seidman's imperative: Not business ethics, but just ethics," covering the profound union between ethics and capitalism, the impact of technology on corporate transparency, and how ethical probity creates and sustains strong corporate cultures and enduring reputations. The speech is open to the public free of charge.

Seidman is a nationally recognized ethicist, a leading expert in the practical application of ethical principles and a frequent speaker and commentator on ethics and governance in corporate America. Dov delivered the 2002 keynote address, "Do the Right Thing" at UCLA?s university-wide commencement ceremony. He founded LRN in 1993 initially to provide legal knowledge research.
