MAGAZINE'S TOP 100 ENTREPRENEURIAL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES IN THE

LMU Management And Entrepreneurship Professor Fred Kiesner Ranks
No. 5 Among Top 10 Directors Of All Entrepreneurship Programs

University's Entrepreneurship Program is among the Top 10 best
Colleges and Universities in the United States within the
Entrepreneurship Emphasis Category, according to the May 2004 issue
of Entrepreneur magazine, on newsstands now. More than 825
entrepreneurship programs were researched for the study.
LMU Management and Entrepreneurship professor Fred Kiesner ranks as
No. 5 among the top 10 directors of all entrepreneurship programs
nationally. The individual ranking is based on a poll of
entrepreneurship professors from more than 350 schools throughout
the country, and this is the second year Kiesner has held the No.
5. spot. Kiesner holds the Conrad N. Hilton Chair of
Entrepreneurship, and has taught at LMU for nearly 30 years. For

Entrepreneur's 2nd annual evaluation of the best entrepreneurship
programs at U.S. colleges and universities is the most credible and
comprehensive analysis of its kind. The final rankings are based on
more than 70 separate criteria, including course offerings,
teaching and research faculty, business-community outreaches,
research centers and institutes, degrees and certificates offered,
and faculty and alumni evaluations. The study was conducted from
