General Registration
Is the family registration fee per person?
No, it is one fee per family, no matter how many registrants you have.

How many family members can come?
As many as you would like to bring.

What is the dress code?
Please wear casual attire for Saturday since you will be walking around the campus.  If you are attending the brunch on Sunday, we would suggest semi-casual attire.

Can I bring my younger kids?
Younger siblings are more than welcome.  Many families are attending so there will be other kids around during the day.

Do I have to attend everything?
No, only attend what you think will benefit you.  Ultimately the weekend is for spending time with your child and exploring LMU.

Will someone notice if I no-show?
No, we understand that many people change their plans once they arrive and you are not obligated to attend all events. However we will not be offering refunds.

What happens if I change my mind about attending something?
You can call our office back before February 1, 2013 and we can add or replace any of your choices.

What else will be available on campus?
Campus tours, the art galleries, financial aid counseling, and the Fritz B. Burns Recreational Center will be available on campus throughout the weekend.

Can I “preview” the campus during this time if I have a prospective student?
You are welcome on campus, however most Family Weekend events are exclusive for current students and their families.  We have preview days later in the year you are more than welcome to attend. Please visit our Undergraduate Admission website for further information on campus tours.

Brunches

Will I be able to speak to the Dean?
Each Dean will give a short speech during the meal and will be available for conversations. In addition, we have invited faculty to join us at every meal to offer even more insight.

Who can I talk to about my student’s classes?
Faculty and staff will be available at the lunches to discuss program information.  If they are unable to answer your questions, they will put you in touch with the right person.
