To be eligible for LMU's School Psychology program, it is advisable to hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology or a closely related field. Applicants whose undergraduate degree is not Psychology may still be considered if they have completed a minimum of 18 undergraduate semester hours (6 classes) in Psychology prior to applying to the program. The required classes must have been completed at an accredited community college, college, or university. The 18 units must include the following courses:

Introduction to Psychology

Cognition/Learning Theories

Human Development/Developmental Psychology

Physiological/Neurological Psychology

Statistics or Experimental Psychology

One course in either Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, or Personality Theory
You must also take the GRE.
