Area Coordinators
Area Coordinators(ACs) are full-time, professional staff members living in the residence halls and apartments. They are available to assist residents with personal matters and roommate issues. They supervise the building staff and the Area Offices. They supervise the operation of a group of residence halls and apartments in a particular area of campus.The ACs coordinate their staff and efforts to meet the mission and goals of Student Housing through community developement, programming and facilities management.
Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator is a full-time, live-in staff member responsible for developing programs geared toward first-year students. The PC supervises the Program Assistants (PAs), and advises the Residence Housing Association. The PC strives to meet the mission and goals of Student Housing through coordinating programming and leadership developement opportunities.
Resident Directors
Resident Directors(RDs) are full-time, professional staff members living in the residence halls and apartments. They supervise the Resident Advisors (RAs),the front desks, advise the building councils, and the daily operations and activities in their buildings or areas. The RDs strive to meet the mission and goals of Student Housing through community developement, high touch approach programming and facilities management.
Resident Advisors
Resident Advisors(RAs) are upper class students who have been trained to help you with your transition to living at LMU. RAs are available from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. in their rooms when they are on duty. They are there to assist you with BIG and small questions. They also like to talk so stop in and say “Hello!” The RAs strive to meet the mission and goals of Student Housing through a high touch approach in community developement, addressing facilities issue and caring for each student.
Program Assistants
Program Assistants are students responsible for coordinating community development and programming efforts geared toward first-year students.
Resident Ministers
Resident Ministers(RMs) are priests, sisters, lay people, or Campus Ministers who live in Student Housing to be of service to you. They are also available to assist you with not only spiritual guidance, but with the challenges that life presents to all of us. The RMs also sponsor formal and informal worship services for residents. Get to know your RM! They are great people who enjoy living with students!
Area Office Staff
The Area Office Staff are students who provide on-site services to residents such as toilet paper, trash bags, vacuums, board games, and other resources. They are able to assign One Hour Lock Out Cards for residents that get locked out of their rooms.
Front Desk Assistants
The Front Desk Assistants work in the buildings from approximately 8PM to 2 or 4AM. To ensure the safety of the halls, they are responsible for checking in visitors and guests.
