The Latino Faculty Association of Loyola Marymount University was founded in May 1996. Any faculty member (tenured, tenure-track, visiting, and part time) of Loyola Marymount University is eligible to join the Association. It works to:
1. Foster a critical, student-centered education focusing on issues of social justice in the Jesuit and Marymount traditions.
2. Promote the interests of Latino faculty in an organized and collaborative manner.
3. Improve communication between Latino faculty and students.
4. Address academic and community issues which are of interest to Latinos.
