Program Description

The Florence International Business Program is designed to integrate a rigorous international business curriculum with the benefits of the rich and vibrant cultural setting of Tuscany. While Florence is the home base, students also participate on overnight excursions to Milan and Rome. Featured on the program are several site visits to local businesses where students will gain firsthand knowledge to complement their classroom learning. Students will also engage in a series of cultural activities meant to acquaint them with the social and cultural setting in Florence and in Italy beyond.

Home of the Renaissance, the many historical monuments and museums bear witness of the countless ideas generated by its inhabitants over the centuries. Today, Florence stands as a modern hub of business, tourism, and fashion. The richness of the city’s culture and history and the beauty of its design make it an incredible place to live and study. Classes are held in a modern, Wi-Fi-equipped academic facility located in the Piazza della Repubblica, in the heart of the city. The facility houses a computer lab, a student lounge, a library, and other academic resources.
