Housed in the
Academic Resource Center (ARC), the University Advisor serves as a key resource to students seeking clarification about University academic policies and their program of study. The University Advisor assists students with academic decision-making in collaboration with faculty and staff, to meet each student's educational needs. It is recommended that students consul with their faculty advisor and the
University Bulletin as part of the registration process each semester.
At LMU, all students are assigned faculty advisors within their school or college. Students who are new to LMU and those who may be in between majors can receive additional academic support from the University Advisor to increase students' knowledge of university processes, and to prepare them for meeting with their faculty advisor.
