LMU's Living Learning Communities are designed to assist students with their adjustment to collegiate living while enhancing their overall academic experience. Students in each themed community live together in a residence hall and take classes together during the academic year.
The university currently offers seven Living Learning Communities, including COMPASS, whose focus is assisting undeclared students in identifying their unique interests and strengths, thereby helping them choose a major. The program also introduces students to a network of supportive faculty and staff, as well as campus resources that will help make their academic endeavors successful.
