Program Coordinator, The Learning Community (TLC)

Dionne Simmons is an alum of The University of San Francisco where she received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Business. Dionne started her Student Affairs career at The University of San Francisco where she also received her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Student Affairs. Dionne left California to work at Dartmouth College in Residential Education. In 2002, she returned to California and began working at LMU. Dionne worked in the Department of Student Housing as a Resident Director for four years. In June 2006, Dionne moved to the First Year Programs Office as the TLC@LMU Coordinator and she is also a Coordinator for  Judicial Affairs. Dionne is a current member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, INC. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, reading and volunteering.
